Event Details

The ARE 2008 Conference will be held at Lincoln High School in San Diego California on Saturday, April 12th, 2008.  A.R.E. San Diego seeks to outreach at least 500 members of the educational community, including, teachers, counselors, parents, students, and so forth. The conference theme is “The Struggle for Social Justice in Education.” Conference speakers and workshop presenters will collectively address issues of social justice as they relate to the question of the role of teachers and students in struggling, inside and outside the classroom, against oppression and marginalization within the educational system.
